Letting go has been an ongoing challenge for me which makes it easier to spot in my client’s situations. Here are my top tips on letting go. Identify what or who you need to let go of. 1. Hold a pebble in your hand, think of what you need to let go of and drop the pebble. 2. Visualise putting what you want to let go of into a balloon. Imagine releasing the balloon or tying it to something near by. 3. Write out what you want to let go of, carefully and safely dispose of it. 4. Visualise cutting the invisible cord that keeps you attached to what/who you want to let go of. 5. Physically take a step back to remind yourself to emotionally step back.
